Dhaka, Bangladesh: The curtains have fallen on ArchiKori 2026, the landmark architecture festival organized by the North South University Architecture Alumni Association (NSUAAA), after five vibrant days that brought together architects, alumni, students, academics, and industry professionals in a remarkable celebration of design, ideas, and collective spirit.

Held at the Department of Architecture, North South University, the festival emerged as far more than an exhibition or reunion. It became a dynamic platform where architectural practice met education, where generations of designers reconnected, and where meaningful conversations on the future of the built environment unfolded through exhibitions, discussions, cultural programs, and community engagement. The event was envisioned as a bridge between academic learning and professional practice, strengthening connections across the architectural ecosystem of Bangladesh.

The festival was inaugurated in the presence of distinguished guests including Hon’ble Mr. Zakaria Taher Sumon, Minister, Ministry of Housing and Public Works, Ar. Md. Asifur Rahman Bhuiyan, Chief Architect of Bangladesh, Ar. Dr. Abu Sayeed Mostaque Ahmed, President of the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB), Mr. Aziz Al Kaiser, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, North South University, and Prof. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor of North South University. Their presence underscored the growing importance of initiatives that foster dialogue between architectural education, professional practice, and national development.

Throughout the festival, visitors experienced an inspiring showcase of alumni works, emerging ideas, and creative explorations that reflected the diversity and evolution of contemporary Bangladeshi architecture.
